An essential part of the ‘sporterising’ process of the Brierley Bloxham Special was a set of Nigel Teague’s thin wall interchangeable chokes. It is no surprise then that Brierley Guns have turned to Nigel for his long choke conversion on this model. There is really very little more that needs to be said about the quality of these chokes, proven as they are in the most demanding circumstances.
Screw in choke modification to fixed choke shotguns in 10 - 12 - 20 - 28 gauges. Your fixed choke shotgun can be modified to accept Teague Chokes, hence the saying, "Has your gun been Teagued!"
The barrels are machined very accurately, with a counterbore and thread in exact alignment to the main bore of the barrel to accept 'Teague Precision Chokes'. The chokes are manufactured from high tensile stainless steel and adjusted to the nominal boring of your shotgun, with the choke restrictions you require. These chokes are then Lazer marked with the Serial Number of the barrel and the choke restriction (pic 1).

Additional chokes can be ordered at a later date by quoting the serial number of the barrel as all the records of your shotgun bore sizes are kept. The chokes are available in Standard length or Long in 12 & 20 gauge. 10 gauge only available in Long and 28 gauge Standard length only.
Extended Chokes, ie. With a diamond cut knurled portion protruding from the muzzles are only available in 12 gauge in both Standard and Long chokes (pic 2). This modification does not add any additional weight to the barrels maintaining the original balance. |
